Hemp fiber is the softest of various hemp fibers, and its fineness is only one-third of ramie, which is comparable to cotton fiber. The tip of hemp fiber is blunt and round, and there is no sharp tip like ramie and flax. Therefore, hemp textiles are soft and fit, and can avoid the itchy and rough feeling of other hemp textiles without special treatment.

Hemp fiber has a unique anti-mildew and bactericidal function. This function is scientifically due to the elongated cavity in hemp fiber, which is rich in oxygen, making it impossible for anaerobic bacteria to survive. Taking hemp canvas as an example, tested by the National Textile Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center, its moisture absorption rate reaches 243mg/min, and its moisture dissipation efficiency is as high as 12.6mg/min. According to estimates, compared with cotton fabrics, wearing hemp clothing can make the human body feel about 5 degrees lower in temperature, and it is cooler than chemical fiber fabrics.
